Spa indulgence above Snoqualmie Falls for hotel guests and weary city dwellers. – The Scene The spa, on the top floor of the Salish Lodge, is hindered by its location: Since the waiting room is adjacent to the gym, the occasional hotel guest may wander through or be lifting weights while you're awaiting your appointment, garbed in nothing but a thin white robe. Once inside the warm, dim massage and facial rooms, things improve. The Services While one could easily spend hundreds of dollars on one of the all-encompassing packa... read more

Disappointment – Salish Lodge sits in one of the areas finest settings. It would seem to be the perfect place to relax and have a quality massage. Despite the fine handwork and hot stone work done there, the experience lack the comfort and warmth of the environment. The front desk reception is cold and lacks care in welcoming you into the environment. People are often left standing in the entry (up to 20 minutes to pay or past your check in time) and local guests are allowed to track back and forth making the experience less... read more

Week end respite! – Spending Friday night at the spa, relaxing in the pools, taking a steam and sauna.... is the perfect end to a busy week. It's not necessary to get a treatment to enjoy the spa facilities, but it adds to the evening. My husband and I love spending a quiet night relaxing at Salish!

Salish Lodge Massage – I visited Salish Lodge in November. My fiance purchased a spa package which included breakfast, and two 50 minute massages. I decided to do the river rock massage, and it was HORRIBLE! I work at an athletic club, and recieve massages regularly from our therapists, so I feel confident that I know what one should entail. When asked to close the blinds because of the blinding light, the therapist replied with, you'll have a towel over your face anyways. The stones were not hot, the pressure was not deep, ... read more

Fantastic experience – My husband surprised me with a stay at Salish lodge for our first annivesary. Everything was just beautiful at the lodge, from the hot rock massages to the fabulous dinner & wine and the huge breakfast the next day! Dinner was really world class. I might go as far to say that it was better than herbfarm. And since it was christmas eve they even had carolers singing at the tables. A truly magical atmosphere! Breakfast was mediocre but we didn't care! The room was beatiful with a view of the falls. Enjoy... read more

Salish Lodge & Spa – Drinks in "The Attic" are a great way to start off your stay at the Salish Lodge. Follow up by having a stone massage! And the views are gorgeous. I would stay here again anytime!

dinning at the lodge – While the lodge itself deserves a rating of 7 in the overall. I would give the resturant a big fat 0. This Chef is stuck on one flavor of sauce. Everything is drench in one kind of sauce or another. No natural flavors come through. When ordering Lobster, be prepared. The menu reads, Main Lobster. You get a claw, no tail just a small claw. How tacky, especially at the prices they charge. Out of four corses we finished no more then two bites of each. We eat at fine resturants all the time and were very v... read more

Great – My husband and I recently visited Salish for the first time and found our dining experience to be very pleasant. The prices are steep, but we saved money by eating vegetarian meals and not ordering wine (prepare yourself to pay through the nose if you want meat and alcohol). We loved our meals, the view (it's difficult to actually see the falls, but the mist rising out of the valley was plenty romantic), and most of all our dessert . . . beignets and the best hot chocolate you will ever taste in your life, made right... read more

Not Impressed; especially at this price! – Judging from the restaurant (the only place you can review the restaurant is here), the Salish must be riding on an ancient reputation for excellence that is sadly gone even though the premium pricing has remained. At brunch, I ordered the steak medium rare, and it came thoroughly well done, with crispy burnt edges. The waiter never even checked to ask how our meals were, so there was no use trying to send it back. We waited hungrily forever for our meal, and they didn't even offer ... read more
