Fairytale Stay – husband and I went there for our wedding night and go back for our anniversary every year. It is amazingly romantic and cozy. The goose down bed, comforter and pillows make for a bed fit for royalty. The room decor is very tasteful, nothing is overdone. The sunken Jacuzzi tub is a romantic adventure unto its self. Order room service! The food comes to you delicious and you can stay in your pjs! But the Attic and the Dining room are also not to be missed! The staff is friendly and accommodating. (On my weddin... read more

my experience at "Salish Lodge" – i had the pleasure of spending 3 days and 2 nights there.....it was the most delightful time i have spent anywhere....the service was outstanding (turning down the bed at night, lighting the fire in the fireplace AND the oatmeal cookies and milk...well, need i say more......the beds were like sleeping on a cloud! the bathtub was positioned by french doors so, you could view the t.v. while relaxing in a jacuzzi tub.....the oils and lotions were awesome!!! the gift shop was stunning.....all of... read more

Overpriced – My husband and I just stayed at Salish last weekend for our 6-year anniversary. We stayed just one night, and while we liked the place, especially the smell of wood burning, and liked our room, we really felt it was overpriced. Comparing it to other resorts and spas, the price just didn't match up with our expectations. The whirlpool in our room was nice, as was the fireplace, but the room itself was a bit too small for the $409/night price. I also think it's ridiculous to charge a required $15 resort fee, espec... read more

delicious dish – My boyfriend surprised me with a special pre-valentine's visit to Salish Lodge for their delicious Sunday brunch. As we dined we enjoyed a beautiful view of the falls. It became extremely busy and the service left something to be desired. The waiter forgot to bring pancakes for my boyfriend so when it was mentioned he brought pancakes for both of us. I would love to go there again but I don't know when that will be because I live in LA.

A real treat! – The Spa at Salish is terrific. I have had five diffierent treatments, each with a different practicioner and been blown away each time. The staff is friendly and very skilled. The soaking pools are a real treat before and after your massage. A much nicer environment than any Spa in the city. And only $5 for valet parking!

rooms good, room service not so good – The room views, spa and appointments are fabulous. However, the room service and the service in the dining room for the famed Salish brunch were lacking during my stay. A but over-priced for the offering, but the natural environs will relax, rejuvinate and remind you why you pay top dollar.

Dinner = Royalty Treatment – I had the most incredible dinning experience at Salish. Our server, Troy, was the best waiter I have ever encountered. Whatever we wanted, he made happen. We felt like royalty that night. The food was delightful, highly recommend the Monkfish and for dessert, the coffee and doughnuts. The Monkfish tasted like Lobster. Then, a table next to the fireplace set the entire mood. I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas Dinner. Thanks Salish and Troy! On a side note: The brunch was a complete oppis... read more

Wonderful Anniversary – My husband and I stayed at Salish for our anniversary in 2002 and had a wonderful experience. The accomodations were charming and the Breakfast served in 4 or 5 courses was to die for! The falls were beautiful and Salish was close enough to Seattle to spend time there during the day and relax at Salish in the evening. Would return and would recommend to anyone considering a trip to the Seattle area.

Worth the trip! – We had dinner and spent the night in November 2002 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was awesome and the staff was very accommodating. Rooms included travel-sized Aveda products (shampoo, etc.). Everything about dinner was quite exceptional, but definetely not inexpensive. The package included the famous breakfast. However the service at breakfast the following morning was really awful and slow! Overall, costly but worth it when you want something special.
