My mom was really sick for months. She lives 4 hrs away. I brought her to St. Elizabeth and after a visit with the SEP doctors and a short stay at the hospital she is finally getting better. Thanks St. E !!!!
I was in a family members room all day today and was asked if we needed anything like. A drink and i declined. Well when one of the nurses aides came in i asked for a cup of ice and diet coke and she very sarcastically said is it for you? I said yes and she said i cant getnit for you. Well as much as this crappy hospital charges for its services and then cant afford a diet coke well guess what i didnt like your service before and this is just a trivial thing but its the principle of the matter. I had two tests done yesterday. The technicians were very nice and informative. The only complaint I had is at my pulmonary function test. The technician was sitting right next to me, as I was sitting in the machine. She turned her head to the right and sneezed and coughed in her hand and then started touching the equipment I was to use. She also started coughing when she got up and let the person she was training help me. Never used a tissue or anything. The room was very small and if she was ill, germs were flying. High Fives to the Cardiac ICU staff. The NP has great communication skills - she carries a pacemaker prototype in her pocket! - and is knowledgeable and encouraging. Elizabeth, Lauren, Jessie and his Tuesday night teammate-- The Best nurses we could hope for. Dr. Hays treated Jim with compassion in addition to his thoughtful, personalized conclusion. And Dr. Brown, neurology, was an unexpected but crucial bonus, and we were thrilled to be under his skilled watch. Thank you, with ALL our hearts �
