Absolutely horrendous service. Most of the nurses are completely unprofessional and negligent in their nursing and have substandard abilities and horrible observance of medical hygiene standards. The scheduling is completely random with no one communicating with anyone else, the office people are rude and unprofessional, especially Michelle who works during the after hours. Some of their Nurse staff needs to learn a thing or two about treating their patients family members with respect!
This is the worst hospital (St Elizabeth in Edgewood, Ky) in the Greater Cincinnati area. I wouldn't trust them to treat my cat! My father lost his life in their ICU. The doctors and nurses at St. E think they are God. They do not respect their patients or their families rights when it comes to their care. This hospital drugged my father to death and let him bleed internally for 13 days, before they stopped the bleeding inside his rectum. I need an echocardiogram done. I tried to make an appointment which the lady was nice enough but they don’t have appt until a month from now. I called Christ hospital. They can set me up for Monday of next week. So when it comes to someone’s heart your going to make them wait over a month to get a life saving test done. Yep ridiculous.
St Elizabeth and their monopolized health care has made patient care and their health secondary to the systems profits. It seems it's an inconvenience to speak with a patient and when they do find time they speak with you in a condescending tone. This is from the administration, care team and the Dr's. Apparently the patient is solely responsible for their own care.
My grandpa got admitted late Monday night. He has a very bad heart. He went in with extremely high blood pressure and hurting in his chest. They admitted him into icu. He was there from Monday til Wednesday. On Wednesday morning early in the morning they told my grandma to call the family in because things weren’t looking good.
