St. Elizabeth Florence is by far the worst hospital in the area. Please if you have a choice then go over to Cincinnati! Awful, horrible doctors and extremely rude and uncaring nurses.
I was treated for breast cancer last fall. I received excellent care from the breast center at my time of diagnosis, in surgery for my lumpectomy and in radiation for 4 weeks of therapy. Wonderful people!
I had my routine blood work drawn the day before my Doctors visit. When going over the results with my Doctor it did not look like my blood work at all. So many things were off but the biggest was the liver function was very high and the kidneys were iat kidney failure numbers. took my mother to St. Elizabeth Florence ER when she was demonstrating neck/shoulder pain I believed to be life threatening. I was concerned that there was a potential issue related to a colonoscopy she had only a matter of days before these symptoms began. We were hastily diagnosed by staff even though a Doctor had not come to see us. I begged and pleaded for more thorough testing to ensure it was only torticollis. RecommendedI see a lot of bad reviews!!! Maybe the staff skills was refined by the time I was admitted into the hospital. I recently spent 21 days in this hospital not long after moving here from Alabama. The Doctors found serious conditions that had been overlooked in the past by Alabama doctors. I was transferred to 5 different rooms during my stay here, including MICU... although the Nurses/CNA staff was very nice they was always short staffed and I could never get anyone there on time to help me to the bathroom. I really like Saint Elizabeth Hospital my family care physician is one of your doctors... I do have some concerns about your ER in Edgewood... There is a lady that lives across the street from me who is drunk every single day of her life... She goes to the Saint Elizabeth Edgewood ER at least 12 times a month... Everybody knows that she is drunk you can smell it all over her and she's incoherent... she can't walk straight or talk straight... so no one has the right to say they didn't know that she was in the abbreviated beca... read more
I just spent five hours in the ER at the Edgewood location for basically nothing. The lab lost my second blood draw and they forgot to do my EKG. A nurse told me the lab lost someone else's blood the night before! Doctor wanted a third blood draw but I refused due to the fact that Jeff came in without a word and literally ripped the tape from my arm causing blood vessels to burst under my skin. I took my dad to the ER Sunday evening and had Dr. Troy Christian Rock who was terrible!!!! St. Elizabeth ER has got to be the worst ER ever!!!! My dad had a stroke and they ran tests on him one being a CT Scan. No one told us the results were 80% blockage on one side and 70% on the other. Dr Rock said it was fine. REALLY!!!! While I was talking to him trying to get answers to my questions he was walking away bc he had to get a phone call and said he would be back. HE NEVER CAME BACK!!!!!
