The hotel was average .. Nice room, reasonably priced. Nice beach , nice pool.. Good food & drinks. I'd have to say the hospitality was above average .. The bartenders Miguel , Mickey, & Johnny were exceptional ! Great service , & always served with a smile .. I would recommend anyone who stays there to pay them a visit! Thank you guys !

I just got back from a great four days at the Sagamore--and despite the financial drama (and the removal of the art)...the staff was incredibly professional, and I had an amazing time. I'm hoping for a repeat experience next year. I hope everything turns out for the best for the Sagamore!

With so much choice in south beach , maybe consider other options. I am sure the hotel sagamore will get back to its original glory soon.
WARNING: I would not recommend staying here in the current state of affairs. Hospitality, customer service, and service with a smile are standards in the Hotel industry which are NOT being upheld at The Sagamore. I went for a girls weekend and was treated with indifference, by a group of the most unsociable employees. It can only be described as people collecting a paycheck but not caring anymore. Which is amusing because after returning from the trip I read that this article in the #miamiherald regarding the financial woes ... read more
I hate writing bad reviews.... But they honestly were terrible. The manager tried making up for it by buying us some drinks but... It was still pretty bad and I plan on never staying here again.
We just got home from an amazing 3 day stay! We got engaged here in March 2014, and we were so impressed by the hotel staff and attention to details, that we brought our friends and family back to be part of our wedding. Again they did not disappoint. The rooms, the setup, the food and of course the staff were amazing. I am so glad we decided to host our destination wedding here.
