bs food at bs prices – i had alwasy heard sombady hear they were a good place for food and wine, they are a good place for people who dont know food and wine, the entrees show no variation between, the same sides are offered throuout the menu, a REAL chef would have each entree come with its own thing, we payed $10 for the cuban roast pork which had as much fat as pork, a REAL CHEF woul trim their product, the plantain chips were atleast four days old, i do them regularly at my restraunte, so i do know, my longisland was swe... read more

Great service, amazing food. – As a regular to the Franklin restaurant scene, Saffire is by far the best yet. Every weekend my husband and I like to go out for a high class meal, and a few out of the ordinary drinks. Not only are we looking for the food and drinks to make the experience, but the service as well. As we came in for a reservation on Saturday night, we were warmly greeted by the smiling host, but better yet our waitress was at our table within a minute with our drinks. Throughout the night everything was perfect... read more

Great DInner great wine. – I had dinner last night at Saffire and thought the new menu was amazing. I had the cold crab cake and the fried oysters for an appitizer. For dinner me and my wife got the tuna and the salmon, both were amazing. I dont know how anyone could say they have a bad wine list. We always find great wine at very reasonalble prices. We often come on tuesday night when all wines are half price and enjoy amazing wines that we would not normally order. Hats off to the chef and to the staff of this great Nashvi... read more

Bad from the start – We looked forward to heading down to Franklin in hopes of proving you could find some great non-chains in the burbs - sadly mistaken on this trip. Here we go - reservation mix-up but corrected within a few minutes. Service started off slow and never improved including ordered drinks that never arrived. We were informed that the appetizer portion of the kitchen was running slow so at least we were warned of the 30 minute wait. This surprised us given that there were a handful of empty tables. Given the wa... read more

Funky fusion hardwood-grilled fish and pit-roasted meats make this a Franklin hot spot. – In Short The smell of slow-cooking meat pulls you into this converted factory, where velvet-draped windows and high ceilings add a twist to the dramatic dining room. Couples and friends sit at the ornate bar or at one of the mismatched tables and chairs to watch cooks perform in the exposed kitchen. The gutsy menu combines Cajun cooking with fresh hip-hop fun. Pit-roasted meats satisfy serious carnivores and grilled Gulf seafood entrees... read more

I am not sure what happen – Saffire has been my favorite restaurant in Nashville since it moved into the Factory. We recently had dinner there and noticed things were not right from the beginning. The average bread showed up on a saucer. Previously you were offered a selection of breads with an amazing butter. We decided to go with appetizers & drinkers for dinner, but 2 out of 3 of our appetizers were VERY disappointing. I wish someone could tell me what happen. Did it change ownership? It seemed like corners were being cut... read more

we love saffire – We have visited saffire several times in the past year, most recently with a group of 20 people to celebrate my 25th birthday. Our food is ALWAYS wonderful. The service is always above par and was even great with the large group of people arriving at different times. The fish/shrimp and grits is always a favorite and the special fish is always great as well. The best all around is the pan fried chicken with sonoma cheddar mac & cheese! We will keep going back to saffire and taking out of town guests here as... read more

Great for a date or special occassion! – I live in NYC and Saffire could rival many Manhattan restaurants. My fiance and I dropped by for an early-evening dinner date and left simply delighted. The atmosphere is eclectic and charming. The food is deliciously creative and tantilizing. The service was equally impressive. We were offered a delicious Spanish, red wine at a steal-of-a-price that went incredibly well with our decorative platter of mouthwatering cheeses and fruits. We had an indulgent dish of Shrimp and Grits, the ... read more
