Safety Harbor Resort & Spa... Where do I begin?! Been wanting to come to this resort for a while finally had the opportunity for my birthday. Was very excited to spend three days in what I thought would be heaven. Expected to spend three days of pure relaxation, but unfortunately quickly that feeling disappeared and the feeling of disappointment set in. What a dump!!!! You get what you pay for. My husband said this place is great the spa is great. He said he had been here 5 years ago. Hey at least it's cheap at 150 a night but I wouldn't call this place a "resort" the outdoor pool looks like it belongs in a trailer park. They only have one restaurant. Who's has ever been to a Resort with only one restaurant. My room looks like it hadn't been renovated since the 90s. Don't get me wrong very clean place. Just more of a quality inn experience with a spa attached than a Resort.
I’ve heard great things about this hotel to only be disappointed. The hotel itself is old and in desperate need of upgrades and cleaning. The room was large but completely outdated and DIRTY. The carpet was ripped, some kind of gunk running down the wall, and the indoor pool... ugh I don’t even think I’d let my dog swim in that pool. It looked at if it hadn’t ever been cleaned. There were two hot tubs that had green water in them and trash littered all around them. Definitely would never stay there again.
Friday & Saturday Evening ,They Have Outdoor Music By The Tiki Bar. And Sunday Brunch Which B4 COVID Was Great. Idk How They R Doing Brunch Or Dinners Now. Haven’t Been Out In A Bit.
I had the pleasure of having a day at the spa. I am giving you a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for my experience there. Ms. Byrd made me feel like a VIP for my 55th birthday. Mr. Scott, your massage was everything and then some. You gave me some good information too. The food was so delicious, our waiter was on point and he sang a little birthday song for me. Everyone was friendly with all smiles. Thank you for making my day so special and full of memories.
Horrible customer service. They are cold hearted and they have no compassion or common human decency. We booked a 2 night stay less than 24 hours ago and had an unexpected personal emergency that resulted in us needing to cancel. There were no spa reservations, just the hotel room. I called them with tears running down my face and clearly distraught trying to put together my words, yet all I received as a response was "because you are within the 3 day period you will forfeit the $179 or we can push the reservations out a yea... read more
