Great wonderful place to relax. Nice quaint little antique downtown. Friendly community and beautiful scenery.
HORRIBLE HOTEL. The grounds are lovey but the entire hotel is outdated, dirty and the management is an absolute nightmare. I'm an avid traveler & reviewer and I believe this is the first 1 star review I've ever written. We had major issues at check in, it took 4 messages to GM to receive a call and he merely explained to me why I was wrong and he was right. Well, you know the saying, "The customer is always WRONG"
A friend and I came to the resort for a girls weekend. We had a great time, the resort and rooms are beautiful-the comfiest beds ever!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The community outside the resort has great restaurants,coffee shops and is pet friendly. ☕️
The salon at Safety Harbor is a well-kept secret! I watched Olga transform several women while getting an incredible pedicure with Jennifer. I was so impressed with Olga's cuts that I made an appointment with her. She is a true hair artiste! I live 2 hours away, but will come to Safet Harbor to have Olga cut snd style my hair. She is THAT GOOD! And Jennifer gave me a wonderful pedicure. I love the spa services as well. Was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the salon!
In serious need of noise insulation for the guest rooms. Loud thumping music from the tent and people talking up and down the halls at night does not make for a peaceful or enjoyable stay.
I was hesitant to write a review, having only visited this resort 3 times. I wanted to be sure that what I was experiencing was true and not just my perception. One time the indoor pool and hot tubs were not working, but I was still charged the "Resort " fee of 16 dollars, the second time the restaurant added 22% to my bill without telling me, and the food and service was average at best, and the third and final time I will ever stay there, I have authorizations on my charge account that I don't know what they are for. We spent the week over the 4th of July and had an amazing time. The new tiki bar had just opened up and it was a nice relaxing place to swim and wind down. Tony at the bar made our week. He is very fun and had us laughing. He is a great asset. To say the least we really would not mind doing the same vacation next year. Well done!
