Laura Machado was really great going over everything with me in detail. She is down to earth and pulls no punches on what needs to be done on the patients part. When I struggled with weight loss before my surgery she was very supportive encouraging me every step of the way. The surgery went perfect for me without complications. I would highly recommend her for your bariatric surgery.
Dr. Machado saved my life! Dr. Machado did a laparoscopic lap band procedure on me about 6 years ago. I had my surgery at the end of 2011 and lost a total of 140 lbs. I have been doing good up until this past year and have put back about 30 lbs from not eating right. I had a great recovery from the surgery and love that i'm more active now then previously. Thanks for everything!

Dr. Machado is amazing! So kind and just a great doctor. I got my surgery done about four years ago. I lost 100 lbs and have kept it off. You definitely still have to change your lifestyle-itâs not a magic solution, you need to work at it, but the surgery was absolutely the catalyst in paving the way for a healthy and happy me.
