This was my first visit and I was very impressed. Staffs were pleasant and professional. The vet tech was very friendly and put my dog at ease. The vet (Dr Cortez) is knowledgable and patient. I'm quitting my old vet office and taking my three dogs here.
I recently lost my Russell Terrier of 16 years and have been a client of Sac Animal Hospital for 5 years. They are simply THE BEST of the best. It's just been 4 days now and they have gone above and beyond to take care of me during this awful time. You can't ask for a better staff, better professional care, or better compassion than this group. I can't say enough about all of them. Thank you so much from the bottom of my broken heart.

7 Dr. Weaver is a compassionate vet. who genuinely cares about the pets and their families more than money. Today, Dr. Weaver and her team walked my family through the heart breaking decision to euthanize our kitty. They made it as pleasant as could be expected, and even had our kitty wrapped in a comfy, soft blanket during her final moments. Some vets are good, some vets are great, then you have truly exceptional vets. Every vet at Sacramento animal hospital I have worked with has been exceptional. I recently lost my dog of 11 years and Dr. Siero was with me the entire time, from when we started finding things that concerned us, to when we finally had to put her down. Dr. Siero loved her too and for me that made a huge difference, knowing that my dog wasn't just another dog, but that she was invested in her health and comfort. This is a wonderful vet.
The staff is amazing, they always remember our pups. They also offer advice for our foster dogs, they are so kind and loving.
Very professional and friendly. Dr. True called w follow up as scheduled.
