I broke my ankle bad while riding my mountain bike. It required that Dr. Vitali operate and place a rod up through the ankle and reconstruct the rest. It worked. Today I was cleared to walk again without crutches. His staff has been extremely supportive and friendly through the whole process. A great surgeon and team can preserve the quality of your life. Don’t compromise. Back on the bike before you know it!
Botched my anterior hip replacement surgery. Beware!
I had to go to the emergency room and the doctor there said I should see a neorologist. I asked Dr. Leff for the needed referral. She refused to give me one stating this could be handled "in house". Why see a family doctor for a specific condition when a specialist was recommended by ER and my great insurance would cover the specialist? After 5 days of back and forth, I got really upset at her and she then finally referred me. She should not have put me thru that unnecessary frustration.
I had a broken ankle and had surgery at Sutter Hospital Roseville. Dr. Vitali was the on call surgeon so he did my surgery. Since that time I have had three follow-up appointments with vitaly he makes comments that are completely unnecessary I have nothing to do with my surgery he has pour bedside manner. He has never touched my ankle since surgery only looks at x-rays an overall is rude. I would never see this guy again.
Dr Vitali replaced my left knee sept 2018, I felt he was highly qualified and very experienced, which he is, and I never felt unsure of my decision to have Dr Vatali do the surgery. After surgery, by the amount of bruising and rapid healing time and comparing to others on the Facebook knee replacement group, I can say that Dr Vatali is indeed an expert and would highly recommend him, he truly cares about all his patients and is an awesome person--
Dr. Vitali and his crew were amazing. Vitali always cared about me and gave me any information I asked for. His staff was also very friendly. Daniela at the front desk always had a smile and enthsiasm. She made my overall experience wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Vitali alone on my experience with her.
Dr. Vitali is a great surgeon. I am very grateful to have my mobility back. His staff is kind and very helpful.
The most painfully unhelpful staff I have encountered, they treat me like I am a nuisance for just calling them to make an appointment. Absolute lack of empathy, dismissive, combative, all around TERRIBLE.
Horrible impatient bedside manner, acted as if I was wasting his time. Demanded to know who refererred me (ER), then impatiently said there was nothing he could do for me. I had to ask about restrictions and healing, as he walked out the door. 5 min in and out. When I mentioned to his staff about his abrupt manner they stated they were trying to have him work on that. He may be a brilliant orthopedist, I hope so but as for a good doctor at patient care he is not.
