Steer clear of the Northern Virginia Ryan Homes team. They lie about any and everything. We were supposed to close on 7/13/2022 and move in the next day. We did our final inspection walk through on 7/11/2022 with the project manager and pointed out a bunch of cosmetic issues as well as some leaking shower heads and such. Just like to warn others stay away from.Ryan H**** also know as NVR. We recently closed on a new build. We have only been in.the home about 2 weeks and already have had our HVAC system go out the front door was never installed properly. And today the dishwasher needed repair. The h**** go up so fast that there is no quality control at all. Now we are in the process of getting what ever else needs fixing and listing the house. This was truly a lesson hard learned.

Ryan Homes is terrible. Our backyard is not as big as it suppose to be. And the right side of our backyard is only 21.5 feet and left side is over 22.5 feet long, when the whole backyard is supposed to be 28 feet long. The overhang by the front door is smaller than it says it should be. But now it is too late before we realized it, and have ryan homes fix it so I guess they screwed us. MY ADVICE ANYTHING THAT HAS RYAN HOMES ON IT, STAY FAR FAR AWAY CHECK EVERYTHING OUT BEFORE PAYING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY

I purchased my Ryan home in late December 2019. We had a long punch list and I hesitated closing because I felt rushed because of the end of the year numbers game. I understand the numbers game for this corporation because I am a real estate broker. So I agreed to close with the promise of the work being completed after closing. This has to be the absolute worst builder. You will have problems to no end and they do not get back to you for repairs. I have put in multiple repair request and they close them out saying the repair was complete but nobody ever came to fix it. when we built our home with them 1 year ago we heard the horror stories but still went with them but I regret it every day due to the quality of the home and the customer service experience we have had. once they have your money you are nothing to them. this is the worst experience I... read more

I bought a 2020 NV home and paid a lot of money, but I have bought several houses so far, but the quality and detail are unbelievably poor. The first thing I did after the Settlement was mow the in a lot weeds and remove the left over construction debris, so I couldn't move in on the first day with a happy heart. I believed it was a big company, but my dreams were shattered. I hope this helps people who are buying a house in the future.

Ryan homes did not use house wrap on my home. In fact, when questioned about that, project managers Ryan, said they dont do that anymore. Also, no felt paper used on roof! More was any drop edge, ice/water guard or a starter row for shingles. Pathetic that Ryan accepts this poor quality of work!

I’m building a home in Ocean Meadows LEWES DELAWARE. To start my foundation has a huge hole in it due to a block of styrofoam insulation being dropped in the form. A drain for my wet bar was not installed so now I have a foundation wall that needs to be cut out and my entire basement floor has to be trenched and chopped out because the current project managers here simply do not get out of their vehicles. We purchased our house at Cullpepper Landing Chesapeake VA, June 2017. To start i was promise some updates we requested prior to clossing that did not get approved due to timing according to Ryan Homes. The person incharged of the construction told us that if we give him 10 in our questioner as for rating his work he would make the updates for us himself. NEVER HAPPENED.
