Rib Eye never fails to melt in your mouth! – This place holds a special place in my heart. Special anniversary and important client meetings. I love the sides and appetizers. The waiter spilled our drink last time and comped us all deserts. First class all around. We'll be back!
Gone way down hill – What a disappointment! Lobster was overdone, steaks underdone and the "lyonnaise" potatoes were unrecognizable. Deep-fried not pan fried, over salted, quartered not sliced onions, no garlic, no parsley and overall no taste. And who lets people still smoke in their restaurants? Is this still the 70's. For $220 for 2 people, the value was not there.
The food is always good and the service is great. Keep it up!
Always a Good Steak! – The title of my review and my star rating don't match well. However, it's true, the steaks are good, but this particular Ruth's Chris has not been my favorite in terms of atmosphere.
My Favorite Steak – I have been to most of the "great" steakhouses that this country has to offer. Yes, there are a few I like over Ruth Chris, but I truly feel they CONSISTENTLY cook the best steak.
yes,it is good – The steak at this one was way below average. I had the filet which is usually hard to mess up, but this one had marble www.onsale7,com nike shoes outlet and little to no flavor. Definitely not prime steak. Very disappointing. The service and ambience was good but overall based on my steak I couldn't recommend this place.
Expensive but good – Ruths Chris at 850 SW Broadway in Portland, OR - the new location - has a new feature on the menu. Past practice has been to offer everything a la carte. Now, the restaurant also offers a complete dinner for a specified price. The diner gets to choose from a selection of salad, side dish and meat options, with a dessert to round out a meal. Waiter Studying Law Thought He was Smart – I dined here about 6 times and the steak was the best in Denver, but it was also the most expensive hence the fact that they are now out of business. The last time I dined here was June 2008 when I told the waiter studying law that this restaurant would be out of business within 6 months due to the economy. He politely nodded and I overheard him later saying I was crazy for my prediction. About 9 or so months later Denver Ruth's closed. You'll have to try Ruth's in another city.
