AWFUL Ruth's Chris – We were seated at the time we had reserved. The waiter was pushy and kept trying us to get glasses of wine while we decided on what bottle we wanted. The onion soup had burned toast in it, the ribeye steaks we real fatty. The left food to be brought home on the bottom of a tray for 15 minutes then tried to sneak it away to wrap. WAY over priced, quality was poor.
Worst Service In Town – Crowded, loud, with an unfriendly staff and the WORST SERVICE IN TOWN. This is not upscale dining.
Two Thumbs Down – Fine dining should include excellent service. This restaurant misses the mark completely. We arrived on time for our 8PM reservation but had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The curt hostess did not direct us to a bar or waiting area or even a chair. We found a bar on the 2nd floor, (the 1st floor bar was standing room only) where the bar tender yelled over our heads at a passing waiter that she was out of high ball glasses. Great food, service, and atmosphere. WOW – I had never been to a Ruth's Chris Steak House before, and the experience was great. Our group was seated at a round table and then a moving curtain was pulled to cordone us and to create a private room atmosphere. I wasn't expecting that, so it was a neat first impression. Oh So Elegant! – It would be difficult to say anything at all in a derogatory fashion about this restaurant. The ambience is impeccable. The dinner was absolutely wonderful, with the exception of the lobster which I felt was a bit overcooked. The service was very good as well, but a bit slow in refilling drink orders. I loved this place and will return again and again. If you haven't experienced it yet, you definately must go. It's worth the $$$$.
Beautiful restaurant and Great steak! – The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The decor is like no other restaurant! The service and food were great! From the second I entered the restaurant till the second I left- everything was perfect. Great Bar too!!! I will be back real soon! Highly Recommended!!
Not only is this one of the most attractive restaurants that I have dined at, it also has the best food and SERVICE I have experienced. If you are looking to sign the deal or get down on one knee I recommend Ruth's Chris. Once again WOW!!! Thanks Ruth's. I will be back often.
Ruth Fertel is spinning in her grave – As most know, this is a standard place for expense account executives. I made the mistake of taking the wife and daughter here for a special family occassion. We were seated by the kitchen door. The wait staff wasn't remotely interested in waiting on a tiny table of three. We had to beg to get water or wine refilled. Absolutely Delicious! – I have no complaints whatsoever about this place it was just perfect. The steak I had literally melted in my mouth. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. Everything was perfect. But be prepared to pay $$$$.
