I had a wonderful experience while this was my 1st time here. Everyone was wonderful from the lady in surgery registeration to the lady that wheeled me out and all the ones in between. Dr. Davis was amazing and explained everything to my family after the heart cath. Thank you all.
1st time there and the staff is so friendly. I got lost but they put me on the right track. My husband had to have out patient surgery and the Dr was good on keeping me informed.
I want to thank all the staff that help with my dad Billy Mann for all they did to keep him from harming himself while he was staying at the hospital . My dad has dementia and the staff was great with him when he had a mean spell . Please tell the staff on the night shift in step down that I'm very thankful . I don't know names but I know faces.
Russell hospital is the absolute worse hospital ive ever been to . they took my wife back,never got any vitals, never hooked her up to a monitor, they did take a piss sample but it was still sitting on the counter in the room when we left. There were 7 nurses sittng at the desk and we sat back there for over 3 hours before anyone came in to see her. Im just glad it was not a life or death situation because i would probably be making funeral arrangements for my wife.
The care was adequate. Husband had to have emergency surgery ortho felt they could not so sent to UAB per ambulance. Stayed in their ER for several hours and was told at 930 p.m. he is swollen too bad, he would be sent home and for us to call ortho Mon to set up appt. We are home.
I had a very good experience.not a long wait.an the staff was very friendly.hi jerry...
