BEWARE OF A RIP OFF! Took my 2008 Honda Civic in because of a catastrophic acceleration problem; suggested to the service guy that it might be something in the transmission or engine. My husband is a former mechanic so we're not idiots when it comes to cars. They called me the next day and told me "This is what we found so far ... you need new front brakes, new spark plugs, a top end induction cleaning and a new cabin air filter at a cost of $1,100". Avoid this dealership at all costs Cary Paul Honda has a long list of dissatisfied customers due to their dishonest, unethical and incompetent practices. They have continued to harasses me to buy from them even though I never bought from them â or even wanted to buy from them. Nobody needs a car, or car service, bad enough to deal with people like these. Avoid this dealership at all costs. And tell your friends and acquaintances also.
You people who rave about the new car experience are idiots... of course they're nice when you're buying a new car you idiots. They're doing everything they can to seperate you from your money. Once you purchase a car from them they try to rip you off even more in maintenance. That's where they make the real money - not in new car sales.
Service Dept-Attempted Ripoff Brought my Accord in for oil change. Done quickly. HOWEVER, I was told that I needed wipers,air filter and cabin filter. I had just changed wipers 2 weeks prior and replaced both the air and cabin filters one month prior to the oil change. If Carey Paul Service tells you you need a part repaired or replaced-Get a second opinion.
Carey Paul Honda is as decent as any other dealership Bought a Honda Element 3 weeks ago from Carey Paul Honda. It was an extremely pleasant experience until we started crunching numbers, negotiating my trade and the price of the Element. impressed with service I had a repair made at Carey Paul today, and was impressed with the quality of service, efficiency and professionalism. I am always a little skeptical of any service department, especially at a dealership. I have a Honda warranty plan, and the service department quickly identified the problem, told me that it was completely covered by the warranty, and had my car back to me within 4 hours (on a Saturday). I'll definitely be back to Carey Paul for service on my car.
