Rural Hill

4.5

About this business

A little ways outside Charlotte in the city of Huntersville sits Rural Hill, a 265 acre homestead with pastoral views and farm animals to enjoy. The farm has historical significance for the Scots and and Scots-Irish, which makes it a prime location for the annual Scottish Highland Games Festival. This is a beautiful place to escape the city life of Charlotte.

My family and I, decided to tackle the corn maze again. It was confusing and aggravating but fun. It's a beautiful place, and the staff are nice.

I recommend the WHOLE thing: Maize Maze, Hay Ride, pumpkins! There was even an AMAZING BBQ Food Truck with a brisket plate. We will be coming back. — with Katie Thompson.

So much fun last Saturday. Lots for young & is oldies. I would go back to any event there! So much history on the farm, too. Well organized & coordinated. Love to people watch? This is the place. Everyone was enjoying themselves. Thank you Huntersville & Rural Hill.

It’s a nice place and very convenient from the city. The corn maze is way over priced and so much of the corn wasn’t high. The lights from the field area where the food trucks, corn hole, bonfire, etc. is blinds you while walking in the maze if you’re facing that direction. It’s not dark enough in my opinion. The mailbox clues and map pieces didn’t make much sense. They are probably good if you understand them but they seemed too confusing. Anyways, I wouldn’t go to the corn maze again. It’s not worth all that money.
