We love Rum Barrel. It was always a place we would visit when coming to Key West. We heard that they are closing May 2017. Very sad. We will miss you Rum Barrel. We have a lot of great memories.
Say it isn't so! I love this place! We have lots of shirts, coozies,etc.from there! It is a goal every time we come to KW.
This is one of my favorite places in Key West. The Philly cheese steak rolls are my absolute favorite! The beer is always ice cold in the bartenders are wonderful!

Went to karaoke upstairs with Gary wood and Bahama Bob running the show!! It was amazing! Gary kept the songs coming and Bob gave a lesson on PILAR Rum! Too much fun had by all! The service from the staff was amazing also. Great way to have lunch and fun at the same time! It's once a month, so try to catch it!!
We did the cocktail challenge and this was our final stop and the bartender was rude and extremely unfriendly! Won't be back!
Seafood was raw, still looking for the crab in our "crab cakes" half the stuff on the menu was unavailable... ended up going to the bar and getting our own drinks after waiting 20 minutes... and had the worst waitress I think I've ever had. She was rude, forgot half of our food and said she didn't write it down so we must have not ordered it.... which means, I guess, half of our table decided not to tell her what they wanted? And the food that did come out was wrong. Waitress never came over to check on our table of 11 once.... read more
Great place!!!! Friendly staff, great rum!!!! Loved sitting upstairs and looking down on Front Street.
Besides "Rum Runners" we ordered "cheese steak egg rolls" and "jerk" wings. All were Great! And the bartender, Scott, while walking around the bar, noticed a $20 bill on the floor that "one of us" had dropped. He gave it back. THAT is a good man!
