After waiting 20 minutes to place our order we decided to get the salad bar to atleast start eating with no silverware we had to go find some. I ordered a side salad but never got it! We waited another 30 minutes to get our actual food with no sauce that we ordered until we were done eating. Our appetizer never came either. Never got our refills on my drink he just took my glass with nothing in return. After reminding him multiple times we still did not get my salad or appetizer. wont ever go back, slow service, had to go find silverware, waiter was no where to be found half the time, ordered appetizers never got it, had to wait 20 minutes and ask waiter 3 times for ketchup and ranch, never got side salad, honestly can say I’ve never had such poor service
The table was very sticky..we ordered the shrimp platter which came with two sides..we got coleslaw and french fries. The shrimp had an awful thick batter on it with no good taste at all....the coleslaw was spoiled tasting. We had ask for the coleslaw to be switched with onion rings. The waiter forgot all of our sauces we asked for and no straws. I'm not usually a picky person but wow this place really blew my mind
We got there at 645 got a table at 7:00 ordered food at 7:11 at 7:36 my daughter got her cold kids meal.The waitress never came over once not one refill on nothing 8:05 we finally got are meals she responded I'm not in control of the cooks.No but your in control or giving us refills ask if everything is ok. She said kids meals always come 20 to 30 minutes before adults WHEN DID THAT START she didnt know what to say. Table 104 had the worse service ever hands down never seen worse how she works there I have no idea.
Ruby's has always been my go-to place. Tonight (6.15 on a Saturday night), our table was nasty and sticky, one of our knives was so dirty it couldn't possibly have been run through the dish washer, the ultra rare burger was barely pink, and the waitress chose to defend a busy kitchen (except the restaurant was not that busy). I'm disappointed that Ruby's in Mt Pleasant has sunk so low. It will be a while before I give them a redeeming chance.
Terrible service, terrible food, appetizer did not come before the food, food cooked wrong, server was slow not very good & couldn’t even remember who drank what on 2 people plus the place was dead, manager came to table but only fixed part of the bill was not impressed & will NEVER go back!! It was 6:30pm on a Sunday & now I know why everywhere else was busy & they were dead!!
Good food, need to work on bathroom more.
We ordered burgers well done, when they came out they were still very pink in the middle, they took them back to the kitchen and put the same ones back on the grill.... when they came back out they were do burnt from the previous cheese and condiments that were on the burger that they were no longer edible. As a cook at a reasturant they should know when you re-cook something that has condiments and cheese on it that it is going to burn to a crisp!
