Just an all around great place - we wandered in after the Phillies win and loved the food, the folks running the place and the jukebox!

Since the reopening, Royal Tavern is a “shell” of what it was. The staff is NOT the warm, welcoming, engaging people who once made it feel like your favorite neighborhood establishment. The chalkboards of deliciousness, known as “specials” are no longer there, nor is the extraordinary brunch menu on the weekends. The printed menu is shorter and doesn’t come close to the original!!
