Stay Away! – Awful service. Terrible! Overpriced, mediocre food is so not worth it!!
Phony, stale, not worth the $$$ – If you want to see and be seen, then sit right in the front window wearing your best outfit. Unfortunately, in Philly no one pays attention to fashion or physical fitness so there's not much too look at and not many people to impress. Sorry I'm so negative, but if you want good food, and a well prepared drink stay away from Rittenhouse square. The surrounding city blocks have much more to offer without the attitude.
Great view, overpriced food – Two friends and I met last night for an early dinner. We sat at the table right on the edge of the interior and while it was the perfect spot to people watch and feel outdoors, it had just rained and our table was constanly getting dropped on from above. We used our napkins to wipe up the water and they were drenched when we left. Eh? – Food was good. But the service was really quite annoying. The server was aloof, and his knowledge of the menu items was limited. He was also down right rude to the table next to ours.
TRENDY – I went to Rouge with my husband for my birthday on the late night. They have these hamburgers that are huge and the apple turnovers with ice cream (apple pie a la mode) is beyond words.
Rouge rules – I enjoyed myself each of the times I have gone to Rouge. The atmosphere is quite attractive, and the food very tasty. I have been there for dinner, as well as parties in the late evening. I highly recommend.
10 – EXCELLENT! Great Prices and service! The food and desserts are WONDERFUL!! I love this place and go very often! It reminds me of a parisian cafe.
SERVICE SUCKS HERE! – If I am going to be paying $6 for a weak drink and $9 for two eggrolls, service better be attentive and fast. I would like this place if service was better. Last time me and my boyfriend were there, we could've left without paying and I don't think the server would have even noticed. I guess if you are not a fake looking, aging corporate shmuck....you will not get fast service. I'll take my money somewhere else.
HOT HOT HOT – It is so refreshing to spend money to dine and feel like it was absolutely worth it. I had the most beautiful server, who seemed to know everyone. The food was so good that I almost cried. The chef must be a genious. Then, to top off my evening, who should stroll in but Kevin Smith! I had the time of my life.
