If I could rate them a zero I would. I had a clogged sewage line and the tech they sent spent several hours fighting with the snake. appeared to handle the problem and i paid approx $525.00 I was supposed to have a camera guy call and set an appointment to come and wiew the line to make sure it was clear. Did talk to a guy approximately 4 days later and set an appointment for after 3 pm the following day. THEY DO NOT QUOTE OVER THE PHONE - THEIR RATE IS OVER $500 PER HOUR. THIS IS THE ONLY FRANCHISE OPERATION IN ROTO ROOTER - GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR SERVICE AND SAVE MONEY.

I called Roto Rooter to unclog my drain . I advised them that I had ******** Waters as a back up as protection for the trap outside my house, I truly wasnt aware that ******** also snakes your drains for free if your already paying a monthly fee for protection. Roto Rooter down talked Amercan waters and didnt tell me that they knew about this.They charged me $485.00 to simply snake my drain by rushing me into it preying on a first time home buyer wanting relief from flooding in my basement afraid of taking another day off wo... read more

I don't even know where to begin with my experience with Roto-rooter. They have recently moved away from a structure where work is determined based on hours worked to a fixed price structure. This means that regardless of the length of time worked they will still charge a given flat rate. I had what should have been a fairly simple job of switching out a J-pipe in my bathroom sink for a brand new one. Due to error with ***** repairman working on our refrigerator, waterline got disconnected and flooded our flooring. ***** repairman called Roto Rooter since we didn't have a plumber to call immediately. They came and repaired waterline, and ran equipment to dehumidify floor that got flooded. Well this took 4-days. Project manager demanded and forcefully tried to get us to give them our credit card before job was completed. Called to fix an issue with my plumbing after the local emergency plumber couldn't get it fixed. Technician came out and said I would need to wait till the next day to get a camera to diagnose the problem, and that I would receive a call. Never got a call so I called myself the next day and they told me I would have a technician out by 2. Called again at 5 o'clock and was told they were booked out for the rest of the day. Used them to come out to my residence for a plumbing issue. The service tech came out and notated that nothing was wrong with my drain even though water came out from everywhere. I stated that I had once of their techs remove roots from my drain line 5 months earlier but he did not further checks. 1 week goes by and sewage begins erupting from my drain line, causing a huge mess in my basement.
