My sink was draining into my washing machine and I was praying it wasn't a problem with the drywell. I called Roto-Rooter and they were very flexible with scheduling around my work hours. The plumber came out and unclogged the pipes and flushed out the system. I didn't realize how bad it was. My sink drains quicker than ever! The plumber was very professional and did a great job. I highly recommend them for any plumbing problems. (Shelton, CT)

Roto-Rooter came yesterday to fix a draining problem. Our pipes were clogged. Unfortunately they had to bring in heavy duty forces because tree roots had caused the clogging. The first gentlemen had diagnosed the problem correctly. He and Zach showed me the roots and I was able to see inside the pipes where the tree roots were creating havoc. Called Roto Rooter (New Haven) on Saturday to fix a very slow moving drain. They sent a tech on Sunday as they did not have a plumber available at the time. The tech was extremely nice but was unable to clear the drain. First thing Monday morning, a plumber came and when he was unable to clear it, he arranged for one of the plumbers that had previously been able to clear the problem. ROTO ROOTER PLUMBERS Yesterday, 20 May 2014, Penney responded to a call for a blocked basement drain. She arrived within an hour of the call and went straight to work. Opened the main drain and found that to be clear. Opened the secondary drain and snaked the pipes over 70 feet to the street - twice! Found the problem and continued to flush the pipes. Roto-Rooter, Stratford, Ct. 06615. On March 15, 2014 , we had our sewer plugged and suddenly water and sewage began flooding our entire basement. We were so devastated and unsure of what we should do first. We called Roto-Rooter in Stratford for help and they were here in 30 minutes. Find another plumber!! Rotorooter missed their appointment and when they finally did come out to unclog my main sewer line they told me the line was broken and that was the reason for the clog. That it was broken under my deck and that the deck needed to be removed to access the pipe. Long story short: the pipe was not broken, it was still mostly clogged from their inadequate cleaning job, and they refused to accept responsibility for their wrong diagnosis. What an exceptional job. We called them around 6:00pm Saturday night and were in the driveway a little after 7:00pm. Started out with what thought was a routine snake because one of our girls flushed a toy in the mail toilet in the house but tuned into much more. Water was going done but wouldn’t empty out completely. We had a clogged drain and Darley (our technician) showed up late on a Friday and did a great job getting the clog cleared. He was very professional and very clean. I would recomend Roto-Rooter to anyone and would gladly use them again.

Roto-Rooter was great – All of a sudden my toilet wouln't flush and it made a weird hissing sound. I called Roto-Rooter and Jon #35-417 was there within 20 minutes. He fixed the problem, was kind about how old and crusty the fixture and pipes were. He finished the job quickly, and I was able to get to a meeting on time (that I was actually hoping I might have been able to miss). I will certainly call Roto-Rooter again.
