Truly Nashville's Burger Place – Others may come and go, claiming to be the top bit of ground beef in town, but the best burgers (especially cheeseburgers on french bread!) Nashville style are found at Rotiers's. Let Miss Elizabeth and her friendly staff serve up a Music City original to you the next time you're in the Vandy/West End area!
Easily the Best! – Rotier's is far and away the best place to go for a hamburger in Tennessee. I'm from Memphis and will even travel to Nashville just to grab a cheeseburger from Rotier's on a nice day.
over- rated – With all the hype that surrounds a Rotier's burger- there is not really much to it. It is pretty basic, on "french bread" that is not really french bread - and all a little too expensive for the quality of the burger. It is like you are paying for the nostalgia as well.
If its good enough for Jimmy Buffett – Jimmy Buffett voted Rotier's one of the top 10 cheeseburgers in the world, this from a man who knows a little something about the subject. I have not found anything else in Nashville that holds a candle to a cheeseburger, fries and chocolate shake at Rotier's.
local treasure – Everytime friends from out of town comes in, I take them to Rotier's and insist that they have the cheeseburger on sour dough. It's a Nashville treasure!
Best French Bread Cheeseburger in Town – This is one of the best cheeseburgers I have every had. The burger is grilled then but on french bread with tomato, pickles, onions and Mayo. Have it with a homemade shake or your choice or just a burger and beer. The resturant is a family owned joint that has been opened in Nashville for over 30 years. Dress is casual and laid back. Go you will enjoy the food.
Paradise or not--good burgers here – J. Buffett gave this place a "cheeseburger in Paradise" award--well, not exactly paradise; however, their burgers are unsurpassed--especially the ones on french bread.
No Contest – Just can't beat the burger, the ambience, the patrons, et. all......Rotier's, march on!!!
Their Burgers Are Grrreat – Great food, but make sure you get there early for seating and parking!
