Traditions do not come easy in this town, but some things never change. Take the menu: it is a standard "meat and three", a term given to restaurants serving a meat entree and three vegetables. However, Rotier's delicious southern-style cooking sets it apart from the other buffet offerings around town. Fresh baked cornbread and dinner rolls accompany every meal. If you are really adventurous, try a burger. It may be high-calorie, but you can always put the diet away and enjoy this tasty delight once in a while!

best hamburgers ever! – This is THE place for Nashville burgers. Cheap and comfortable and small and stuff, it is authentic feeling. I like it. They have good food. Feels like you're in the 1950's. you can play vintage arcade games.
NOT IMPRESSED – I was so annoyed trying to pay that the pleasure of the food evaporated. There is no organization in trying to get in and out, and I was finally totally exasperated about people jumping ahead of me to pay because they couldn't tell who was coming in and who was going out. It was lunch, but still I will think twice about going back. The food is good and the server I had was personable, but the whole organization of the place left a bad taste in my mouth. And trying to park is terrible. All in all it's not wort... read more
The homey-est feeling place in Nashville. – Very few places in Nashville will make you feel more at home, more comfortable than Rotiers. The very definition of comfort food. These are good people. Warm people. When you feel like the world is changing too fast and you want to jump off the carosel for a moment, do yourself a favor and kick back at Rotier's. Trust me, there is nothing to avoid on the menu. But, if you can get past the french bread cheeseburger with the best fries in Nashville or any of the meat & three's you're... read more
i dont know what the bid deal is?! – i went to Rotiers , got a cheesburger fries, and coke, it was overpirced, and about average for a burger....i mean i dont know what the hype is, but whatever, it was decent
Best burgers in Nash Vegas!! – Rotier's has the best burgers anywhere in Nashville! Look around the walls and you will see photos of all the celebrities stopping in for some great food. It is definetely worth a trip across town for a cheesburger, fries, and nothing better than a coke out of the bottle!
Best American Food I've Ever Had! – I lived across the street at Vanderbilt for four years, and could not get enough Rotiers! Great burgers, or you can mix it up with the pulled pork plate. All on a student's budget!
A Delicious Cheeseburger Experience – It's a little cramped and crowded, and parking is not a pleasant thing to attempt, so be sure to visit Rotier's during the off hours. And then order a cheeseburger on French bread with onion rings and a milk shake for a truly delicious meal. As Jimmy Buffett would say, "we don't get there often enough," but we are never disappointed by the food because it is always fabulous.
Legendary no-frills diner serves some of Nashville's best burgers. – In Short The setting may be a bit like a dive bar, but the greasy comfort food served here more than makes up for it. Inside, a small front bar area leads to a narrow dining room. Chicken, steak and seafood dinners are available, though most regulars head straight for the made-to-order French bread cheeseburgers and thick milk shakes. More adventurous customers may want to try the fried zucchini, fried okra or spicy fried pickles.
WOW! – I had heard about this place in passing awhile back and luckily ended up parking right in front of it a few weeks back on my way to the Exit/In. Its one of those places where you stand outside wondering if its safe to go inside. There is very dim lighting and red, neon lights offering seafood and steaks in the windows. I did go inside and had the best cheeseburger ever! On french bread no less. I can't wait to go back to Nashville - just to eat here! I have traveled all over the US and this is in my top 5 places for g... read more
