Really really REALLY difficult comms. If u exchange 500k with this company, don’t expect a site supervisor who u can contact with questions about your build. A site supervisor who sees it important TO correspond with their client. Instead. Phone a receptionist, leave a highly detailed message MAYBE get put through to someone else, to repeat allllll of the details again. Then…. Wait. And wait. We built our house 15 years ago and have had nothing but problems with roof leaks, cracks in the architraves and concrete floors front and back of our house since the first year we moved in. We had some external wall flooding in a rear WIR “that ruined our carpets and wood flooring”. It was assessed by our insurance company, who blamed the builder for not installing enough down pipes. This is a really nice display home with a rear master suite with garden outlook. You can see the quality in every finish.
I have signed with Ross North Homes May 2023, construction started December same year and got a key and moved in December 2024. From Sales, design by Rob and prestart were smooth and no issues, and they reflected our request thoroughly. Site supervisor, Shaun Customer liaison, Dianne both were extremely helpful and always very patient with my silly questions and explained to understand to me when I don’t know what was going on. Disappointment with Ross North Ross North might be a good builder for those who have some knowledge about home construction, but it has not been a positive experience for me. As this is my first house, I lack experience with door specifications, and I feel I didn't receive adequate guidance in this area. For example, if there's a medical emergency, accessing the bathroom through a 620mm door would be a significant struggle.
