My family member had Lung surgery at Roper hospital via DaVinci robotic procedure and somehow their right colon was perforated. My family member died a few weeks latter in Roper hospital after the procedure. We are devastated. While there, my family member had severe sepsis with a WBC count of 59,000. Have a hernia mesh serious problem and is all these idiots can say is we can see you on the 29th...11 days from now. Called to complain at patient relations and ALL I get is recordings. This place is in SERIOUS NEED of patient relations and employees who care...not diss you and your problems.
Another epic fail with Roper regarding our annual mammograms. Last year we were at the West Ashley facility for 2 hours because “we have new equipment”. This year we’re on target for same wait time at the downtown facility but no one can say why the delay. Why can’t you do a better job with scheduling?!?! Your customer’s time is valuable and we can’t sit in your waiting rooms all day!
My husband went in for a heart Cath. 9-18-17 but Tech assistant was not very good. Never have gotten such bad treatment. Letter to Ms. Karen Byrd got no response. Maybe the picture I have should go to the head of the hospital since I have not gotten a response from Karen Byrd.
