Roots is a fantastic clinic. My experience with Katie was great. We set goals and worked on strategies to deal with my daily struggles as well as long term issues. Therapy is hard work and she supported me while being able to help me work through my blind spots. They helped work with my insurance and I found scheduling to be easy and flexible.

My experience with Roots Counseling and Wellness, particularly with my therapist, Lisa, was deeply disappointing. I specifically requested a therapist who could conduct virtual appointments due to my temporary situation, staying an hour outside of Erie. Despite this, I was assigned to Lisa. During our initial scheduling call, Lisa admitted she had never conducted virtual sessions but was willing to try. I had one session. Although Ryan seems like a great therapist and has a valid style, I needed to reschedule my second appt because I had to work, and his practice never responded. I informed him almost a week in advance. He was also late to my first appt.

I wanted to put this lengthy well worded review about how amazing Katie has been for me, but I can't seem to put into words everything she has help with through. I am incredibly grateful to be able to share time and space with her. It isn't always easy finding a therapist that ACTUALLY works for you. Many Thanks
