Dr. Porshia Cunningham is an admirable supervisor and therapist. Her clinical skills are enlightening, and every time I meet with her my brain expands in perspective and knowledge. Dr. Cunningham has a gift of seeing the unseen perspectives that bring an array of different lights to a situation in order to facilitate growth as a clinician and an individual. I am honored to have her as a supervisor, and hope I will be as good of a clinician as Dr. Cunningham one day.
What can I say. I love this facility. The office is clean and inviting with a very calming feel. We have used Kali for our 13 year old daughter and the progress made is fantastic. Kali is so relatable and helpful and we have enjoyed working with her. We ending the school year on a positive note thanks to her. We highly recommend her and Rooted.
I first started working with Dr. Porshia at a different practice and when she opened up Rooted Therapy, I quickly followed. I've had my share of a few therapists before and thought I was "doing the work". But in reality, it is only when I started seeing Dr. Porshia that I realized all my other therapists were kind of incompetent.
