So this is my second time at RTP- had the round tamale. PERFECTION! Todays lunch not planned was not planned but I thought I would share my story how I got to you. "How stupid. I just flew out of my apt to attend a anti eviction rally in the mission i saw posted an hour ago. Got to the 24th and Bryant - nobody. Checked the fb post clicked the link that just said "today" but when I scrolled to comments. This "today" rally was in 2013. So i'm at Roosevelt Tamale parlor. Protesting makes me hangry"
I heard about this place tryed to come 2 times but it was closed. So I attempted one more time and it was open yay! I ordered the chicken enchiladas OMG SO GOOD.. YUMMY. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND SERVICE WAS GREAT NICE LIL PLACE.....
I ate here for the first time today and my dish was excellent. The service was great BUT my friend's breakfast burrito was so spicy he couldn't eat it and wouldn't take it home boxed. In fairness, the server did try to offer another solution but he was too shy to take her up on it. I can't believe something would be served that spicy! By the way, he's not virgin to hot dishes.
