Hip replacement went great!
Close to having to use a wheelchair to get around; after two knee surgeries, an original knee replacement and then a revision of that replacement, I found Dr. Hugate who was willing to address anoth failed knee surgery. He suggested allergy testing to surgical glues and metal components which identified that I had metal allergies to the components previous surgeons had used. Pre surgery was good, surgery itself did not have desired result, sugery has caused more issues in the last year than my leg had caused in years passed, had to have second surgey already and will probaly need a third to repair what he did. Also, post surgery his care was terrible, treated and given same medication for gout twice in the same week, sent home with other patients medical information, lied to about mri results....ect. Do more resaerch on multiple doctors and dont trust this guy like i did!!!!
I have received excellent care from Dr. Hugate and his team. Revision surgery has been much easier than the initial surgery (which was not done by Dr. Hugate). The communication prior to surgery and post surgery has been phenomenal.

Dr Hugate is compassionate and so good at what he does. If you have a problem, the more complex the better, he will take care of you. Justin is just as awesome! They both care immensely for their patients. I would not hesitate to go back to Dr Hugate and glad he’s the one who is helping me get my life back.
I could not be more pleased withthe care from Dr. Hugate and his team. Just had second hip replaced by him 2 weeks ago. The first one last August. I feel so fortunate to have him as my surgeon. Literally no pain and very little discomfort. I attribute that to Dr. Hugate and his expertise. Couldn't be more pleased.
