Great experience preparing for surgery and after surgery due to Dr Hugate and his team
He is one of the best surgeons and the sweetest people ever I always recommend him I totally trust him and his decisions in his surgery wonderful person hey special angel sent from heaven
I am extremely happy about the total hip replacement I had, and the ability to ask all my questions as they came up via the "Portal". I had a very smooth recovery, and feel so much better than before the procedure, and it's only been two weeks!
I have a complex hip issue. Dr Hugate recognized immediately and did appropriate diagnostics. He is very knowledgeable and personable.

He's a fantastic surgeon, well respected by everyone I encountered at Panorama and Littleton hospital for his skill and demeanor, as well as other health professionals in Denver. I was referred to Dr. Hugate by a friend that had complications from prior knee replacement surgeries. Dr. Hugate adressed all my concerns going into this as well as during and after the surgery.
Hip replacement went great!
Close to having to use a wheelchair to get around; after two knee surgeries, an original knee replacement and then a revision of that replacement, I found Dr. Hugate who was willing to address anoth failed knee surgery. He suggested allergy testing to surgical glues and metal components which identified that I had metal allergies to the components previous surgeons had used.
