The food was not good immediately my system became irregular.
We visit Portsmouth about 2 to 3 times a year. We always come thru the restaurant! We've never been disappointed! Love the fried green tomatoes� Chicken n waffles were awesome. Family that was with us mentioned food good but bland, need more seasoning on fish and greens. Need additional staff as well, wait time was a little too long but our waitress was doing her best to assist us.
I went here for a birthday celebration and the service was great!! I truly enjoyed myself here.

Food was delicious (chicken n waffles, fried catfish, n brisket sandwich) and the band..Soul Intent was Great!
It started it off well, then things started to go downhill. Appetizer and my son's food arrived first. The crab dip was delicious, and so was my son's bbq ribs n fries. Then, it took forever until we got our food. My pulled pork sandwich was dry af. Then, it took forever to get my check. I went to the bar to pay for it. Terrible experience. Will not go there again.
