Never been to downtown Portsmouth,went for a concert@ the Pavilion. We went to eat @[55432541789:Roger Brown's Restaurant and Sports Bar] and we're very pleased. Great burgers and service. Recommended to a couple looking for a place to eat when we were leaving the show�
Worst visit that I have had in years. Waiter, late to table... Did not have desired drinks... and this is a sports bar...? Got order so screwed up brought my meal in a to go box...! I then complained that the meal was bland, pastey and tasted processed. When I complained he then brought me a bill with the screwed up meal, INCLUDED...! WORST EXPERIENCE THERE, EVER. CMON RB... YOU'RE MUCH BETTER THAN THAT...!!!

What a disaster. We went on a Friday evening (June 9, 2017); got there around 8:00 or so. We were immediately seated and greeted. We asked for a beer menu, which our server brought. My boyfriend ordered a beer and I ordered a glass of Riesling. The server came back a few minutes later to tell me "the manager has discontinued the Riesling". Strike One. So I ordered water. This was my first time there and we were celebrating my kids graduation. The service was was great but the food wasn't all that great.
The food was great but the service was aweful, don't be in any hurry if you go and be prepared to have to ask for everything especially tea refills
First time in yesterday. Very nice place but the service sucks. We walked in not greeted so we sat at bar girl(bartender) looked at us and walked away. Guy came over got our drinks. We asked for check it took almost 20mins before I got change back. There were other servers behind yelling at each other. I will be back because it's a very nice place but the customer service needs some work.
