Seems like when ever there is a band playing there the service is really slow, it takes forever to get a drink rather alcohol or soda it takes forever, so I told the waiter to keep them coming and it still took forever.
I took my wife there for St Patrick’s Day. The beer was green, the food yummy, and the band was great. I’d go again in a split second.

Service was TERRIBLE!!! took almost hour to get my drink.
I went in Saturday night 3/3/18 and ordered 4 dinners and 15 wings for an appetizer along with drinks. The waitress was very sweet and made sure we were checked on often. However, the mashed potatoes that came with my shrimp/oyster dinner were quite cold. I informed the waitress who assured me that another bowl was coming as I didn't want those. Terrible service. Sunday at 5 pm. It wasn't busy. We got our drinks after the food, one person in our party got his food after everyone else had finished their meal.
Roger Browns food is amazing! They have served us for our company lunch in's at Harbor Tower Apartments several times and the food is always superb and the service. Curtis the Owner is a great guy and is sometimes so kind to have it delivered for us when we can't pick it up. Thank you Roger Browns for being an awesome place for Olde Towne Portsmouth! (Live band music nights are always a blast too!)

The food was excellent. It was an extremely busy night because of the popular band, Soul Intent. However the waitress always smiled and service was very good. Had a terrific night! Can’t wait to go back and try something else to eat. We had the liver appetizer, Cajun shrimp and shrimp and grits.
