I wish there was a 0 star rating. Was a resident and a vendor. Worst company I have ever dealt with. The property was a slum. There was NO maintenance, NO customer service, I STILL after over a YEAR have not been paid as a vendor. They old the property out from under us as residents with no notification. The whole experience was like a bad dream.

Not even one star is good enough. Scheduled to move my daughter into the 5 Lyons building on Aug. 15, 2020. Picked up the key, went to the apartment to find it filthy. The bathroom was disgusting, urine, mold, looked like it had not been cleaned in a year. The bedroom was a closet. It looked nothing like the model online. The furniture was worn and filthy. It had not been cleaned. The fake leather sofa had been peeled by previous tenants. So they offered to have us look at Off Broadway Apartments. Met with Alex on Aug. 15. S... read more

Business response:

Linda, we are extremely sorry to hear this. This is definitely not how we want anyone, especially our residents treated. Please contact us through our ROCO Real Estate Facebook Messenger and give us your daughter's name and a phone number that you can be reached at so we can look further into this matter. Thank you for letting us know about your poor experience.

I rented an apartment through Roco for a year, Warren Manor Apartments in Warren Mi. Let me start by saying on Day 1, when I moved I , I had nothing but myself and the clothes on my back at the time and I had to go to work that day. I looked all around the apartment, the ceiling fan was filthy. there was a hole in the closet. the closet doors were off track. The refrigerator was not fully cleaned. The stove and oven were not fully cleaned. Cracked window. Foggy windows. Toilet was scratched on the inside. Underneath The kitc... read more

We work for Roco for almost 3 years, they never paid their invoices to contractors, owners ran away with all the money knowing contractors have families and kids to feed. This is the most cold-blooded people I ever met in my life, I suggest all contractors stay away from all their properties because you will never get pay, YOu will file bankruptcy if you ever deal with this people, THey are also paired up to rob people with FREDMAN Management, BEWARE, these people hire the worst managers that will lie in your face to keep yo... read more

I live in ROCO's East Greenbush NY senior "luxury" apt. Last week a lease was passed out to a group of tenants, including myself. The lease, rather than again giving a flat rate for water/sewer and trash like the last year, had language that it was an open ended variable for these and for pest control, which was not applicable in last years lease. There is no cap or percentage of amount. There is no way to know how they are going to calculate this and is variable so it will probably go up every month. As seniors , mostly on ... read more

I'm a current tenant at Fox Valley apartments in Birmingham, AL. For the last few months we have had no manager on the property to assist with payments or maintenance requests. I'm having a serious issue with my hot water tank that need to be address, but I can't get anyone to call me back. The gas to the dryers in the laundry room has been turned off, we haven't had any trash pick up, therefore trash is all over the premises. The grass needs to be cut and there is no one keeping up the grounds at all. Basically, it's as if ... read more

On May 15, 2018 my apartment experienced a flood of about 3inches of water. I reported the flood to the assistant property manager, Katherine Samuels, the day of the flood as the water flooded my apartment. She told me she was on her way and that she was coming right behind me back to my apartment. She never came. That night me and my 1 year old slept in a flooded apartment with no where else to go. Katherine did not contact me until the following afternoon. From there I spoke with Breanna Champion who proceeds with promises... read more

Business response:

We apologize for the delay in response. Since this resident moved out, we have changed accountants and accounting systems, so it did take some research. Our Regional Manager has reached out to go over the balance in question and on 4/22/19, the full deposit refund of $541.34 was mailed out. The check should be received this week and this matter will have been resolved.

Horrible, the property that I live in is trash infested you can never get in contact with anyone at cooperate, here in Highpointe it’s literally a health hazard I’m contacted the health department because this is ridiculous resident being attack by raccoons al because they have no grounds man to keep the property clean, then have the nerve to charge a large amount of money to live here

Business response:

We have contacted the Property Manager and Regional Manager about this issue. They have confirmed that the trash issues have been resolved and won't be an issue going forward. They have also have hired a groundskeeper to address the other issues, so that matter should be resolved as well.

I have tried to contact your company several times, yet you do not answer. Waverly Place in Kalamazoo Michigan, is being poorly handled. There are drugs here, yet residents are required to sign an addendum to not use drugs on the property. I went to the manager several times with this issue. Her response, in a SNOTTY tone, "Well what do you want me to do about it?" I was almost attacked by an aggressive dog, off leash. I reported it to the office and again, no follow up or contact from the manager. A risk mitigation fee is o... read more

Business response:

We apologize for any inconvenience that Mr. Bradfield feels he has experienced. I have spoken with the Property Manager, Regional Manager and Area Vice President about these matters. We are, in deed, having our residents sign an addendum that they will not be using illegal drugs. This will help us in the process of removing any resident that breaks these rules. We can verify that Mr. Bradfield reported an aggressive dog that he felt threatened by, but he was unable to help us determine which dog it was or whom it belonged to... read more
