We moved here and their policy is : you sign and pay then you get the keys. This was four years ago and what we found in that house was aweful. Filthy, dirty, broken doors, dirty dipers in drawers, rotten cabinets with mold. The bathtub painted with wall paint and this came out the first day and let us see the mold in every single area. Applied for an apartment and paid 2 application fees. The advice from the leasing agent was to run only one application. They will not refund the other app fee even though they didnt run the second application. They tell me to dispute it with my bank because they arent willing to give me back my money. They are currently involved in a criminal lawsuit for fraudulent bank activity and I ?? see why. ******** ** Woodcrest apts. And their corporate phone number is on lock down when you call- you cannot get in touch with anyone.
I'm just going to say that the reason they've allowed *************** in ********** to be despicable is they don't care for the current tenants who are majority African ********. The management is demeaning and condescending towards the tenants and will threaten them. Only have been living at *********************** for 3 months. WORST DECISION. ***** infested! NEVER HAD ROACHES IN MY LIFE !!! I am an asthmatic!!! Hallway smells like ****. Our AC unit hasnt worked reliably for the almost 2 years weve lived here. ROCO not only put in a unit that is too small for the unit (per the **** specialist) but refuses to replace it or even pay for a pro to repair it. Now the property managers have just stopped responding to our emails about it. Its 80+ degrees in my apartment but apparently they cant be bothered by that.And dont even get me started on the state of our apartment when we first moved in. Stole my $500 Security Deposit!!! My lease went until July *********************** ************. Due to unforeseen circumstances I moved out in early May. I had planned on paying the rest of my rent but turned in my keys. This was a resident at our property and we were sad to see her go. We understood that she needed to move out for personal reasons and were happy to cut her a break and only charged her the $500 security deposit. Her monthly rent was $560, so for **** and July alone, she would have owed $1,120 and we also waived the early termination rate. We are sorry to hear she is unhappy with this solution, but per her signed lease, we were due quite a bit more money and thought this would be a satisfying resolution for her.
