Great place and very friendly staff! They helped us out when we realized one bike had a completely flat tire after we visited the Arts and Apples fest. Walked our bikes to RBS and the doors were locked. We just missed business hours. But they saw us out back and opened the doors. Took the bike in and fixed it up. Then checked my bike to make sure the tires were good for our ride home because they found a large piece of glass in the other. I love the RBS. We bought our second Trek several weeks ago. Within a week something went wrong with the rear hub and RBS filed a warranty claim. It's been a few weeks and Trek hasn't been the quickest to get it processed so today when we stopped in to get a status update, the team at RBS decided to replace it with a new rear wheel out of their own inventory. Sure they'll get one from Trek but they didn't have to do that. All of my interactions with RBS have been second to none. Great, great customer service!
I've recently brought in two bikes on two separate occasions for mechanical work. The first was a full component upgrade for my carbon road bike and the second was an urgent fix on my wife's tri bike. Josh's down to earth kindness, expertise and attention to detail...all in a timely way...is second to none. I highly recommend this place.

Bought a new bike during their recent sale. They did not make me feel rushed, despite how busy they were. Their staff is knowledgeable, and they worked as a team. They did their best to help me with a few accommodations I requested. I wasn't 100% pleased with the result- me being a bit of a fussy person- and I was so relieved when they graciously corrected any tiny problem I had without making me feel bad about it. Their customer service was excellent. I am very happy with my new bike, and Rochester Bike Shop.
Great service came in today for a gear on my bike. nice friendly people. They actually listen to what you say and want and don't try to just sell you crap. Highly recommend this place and will return for any more bike needs
Zac, Michelle and the rest of the crew are top notch! Wheel building, crank replacement, whatever you need, this is the place. I have purchased a few bikes recently and things could not have gone any better. They also can order you almost anything you need! Love this place.
RBS is the ONLY bike shop I would ever purchase a bike. Great staff, great owners and very customer focused!!
