I got to hospital at 9PM didn’t see a doctor till 1AM.... now that’s 4 hours since I got there. They had one doctor running the WHOLE EMERGENCY room ??? Okay then !!! They finally gave me a breathing treatment after 4 hours and the nurse took blood work and never even took the tubes to the lab??? Like what. All they do is sit down on there phone, or eating this hospital has went down hill so bad they are absolutely te... read more

6 years ago on Wednesday 3/27/13 I suffered a brain aneurysm and was rushed from Princeton Medical to RWJ since the doctor at PMC said they couldn’t help me but he knew of Dr Gupta at RWJ! He called Dr Gupta to let them know I was on my way with a massive brain bleed! After arriving my condition was assessed and Dr Gupta said they had to assemble the team for 8:00 am while I was in a coma they kept me monitored and comfortable! During this time he explained to my family what would happen and chances were that I could be brai... read more

My daughter was transferred here from another RWJBH facility for treatment for pancreatitis. She is currently still a patient there. She has been mistreated from the get go. Pain medication withheld, left screaming and crying in pain for over 2 hours, and could hear staff talking about her and telling other staff members to ignore her. A male aid, without her permission, just ripped open her hospital gown, “looking” for the lead to a monitor, which is totally unacceptable and left her scared, and feeling violated. She has re... read more

I have a labral tear in my hip from an injury that happened over 2 years ago. The ortho sent me for a cortisone in section and physical therapy. Well the injection did not help and the pain is worse. When i called the ortho i was advised to continue physical therapy for the 8 weeks and then they can give me an appointment. In my professional opinion this is unacceptable. A patient is being told to continue on in pain knowing that the only resolution to the problem is surgery. This is not right! And prior to going to RWJ I di... read more

Spent 5 days there with herniated discs and never got any treatment for them. I was told that the only treatment available was for outpatients. Waited 4 days for a fan, which arrived within 2 hours of me being discharged. Every day a PT would show up, wearing a gait belt across their shoulder like a bandolier, and tell me how far I was going to walk. At that point my pain was not managed and I never walked further than across the hallway before gasping with pain. Even the day I was discharged, they still couldn’t keep straig... read more
