Absolutely the WORST DISORGANIZED hospital I've ever see. It has gotten worse after the merger no one from my family will ever come back to this place we will use St. Peter's or Overlook. You discharge a patient with open wounds in their legs without the physical therapist even knowing after saying that the patient has to stay another night and then tell the family the only way that the patient can come home is by ambulance and you must pay for it and ask for the credit card. Worst hospital experience I've ever had in my life.
Scheduled for a surgery today. 5:30pm and there is still no room for me to go to. I'm stuck in a little corner in the recovery area with a nurse who was questioning why I even had my surgery. With the amount this surgery costs I would expect that a room at least be available when my surgery is scheduled for this day months in advance.
I stayed overnight and the nurses are outstanding. On top of your healthcare and will do anything for your comfort.
The nursing staff is amazing from the emergency room to the catheterization lab to the heart wing nothing bad to say

RWJ is a fantastic facility I had my kidney transplant there 2 years ago
I used to think this was one of the best hospitals in Jersey til this past week-end. On Sunday, they had no trauma doctor on staff nor did JFK, so the patient had to travel all the way to Newark. What is up with that?
Very disappointed with care or lack there of. My wife has had 2 same day surgeries that lasted 4 or more days. This time she had an allergic reaction, her throat was swelling and had to be intubated a 2nd time. While recovering in ICU, she felt like she was having trouble breathing while breathing tube was in. She couldnt call the nurse because they never gave her a call button. RWJ Labor & Delivery was fantastic and did an excellent job catering to myself, my husband and my new baby boy. The nurses did a wonderful job and busted their jumps all day. Great Job RWJ!
