I first saw Dr. Wertheimer in May of 2021, and had two other appointments with him during 2021. Each appointment has been excellent. He is a superb, caring doctor--and is wonderfully attentive and focused. My medical issue is a bit of a borderline case--whether to have surgery sooner, or later. I have been a patient of Dr Wertheimer for several years. Dr Wertheimer is very thorough in examining, studying and comparing current tests with previous visit results. He explains clearly and answers all questions with competence as well as sensitivity.

Dr. W has a great bedside manner, and his medical expertise puts me at ease. He is conservative about recommending surgery, and does so only when it's absolutely necessary. I find that very refreshing! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. W to family and friends.
Dr. Robert Wertheimer is an excellent Ophthalmologist. Dr. Wertheimer is a caring and compassionate doctor who takes the time to address any questions or concerns you have. He will do whatever he can to resolve any issues you have. Dr. Wertheimer's staff is always pleasant, friendly and helpful.
