I have been a patient for 15 years while he has a pleasant demeanor there have been more and more red flags. The wait times in the office are increasing and you need to plan on being there at least 2 hours, minimum. Last year the wrong contacts were prescribed and I wasted my annual benefit and had to pay out of pocket for the correct ones. That took a few weeks due to unresponsiveness from office. Dr . Wertheimer and staff are very professional. The office atmosphere is also very relaxed. Most importantly the Doctor knows his stuff and will take the time to answer your questions.
Dr. Wertheimer is a very thorough diagnostician. He is also incredibly nice, patient, and communicates quite well. I’ve never met a more capable ophthalmologist. I would highly recommend him.
