Dr. W has a great bedside manner, and his medical expertise puts me at ease. He is conservative about recommending surgery, and does so only when it's absolutely necessary. I find that very refreshing! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. W to family and friends.

Dr. Robert Wertheimer is an excellent Ophthalmologist. Dr. Wertheimer is a caring and compassionate doctor who takes the time to address any questions or concerns you have. He will do whatever he can to resolve any issues you have. Dr. Wertheimer's staff is always pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Just great. It was awhile ago, but from start to finish the experience was quite good. At every single level of client interaction, it was apparent every member of the team was positive, professional, and conscientious. I also appreciated their uncommon willingness to listen and explore avenues of investigation. It might be possible to run a medical practice better than this one, but that would be a very high bar to exceed. Thank you again for helping me to get to the bottom of a tricky issue with grace and sophistication.

Dr. Wertheimer performed my cataract surgery. I chose him because of the excellent recommendations I'd received regarding his skill and personal style from neighbors in my new community. I was and am thrilled with both him and my outcome. I went to Dr. Wertheimer when I experienced temporary vision loss in my left eye. His office was recommended to me by a friend. Dr. Wertheimer and his entire staff - from front desk to nurses and technicians - were professional, intelligent, responsive and compassionate. I got an appointment with him on Mon. of Thanksgiving week. Dr. Wertheimer put his hand on my shoulder and said, "don't worry, we will figure this out". Dr. Wertheimer is outstanding! He is very talented and his skills are extraordinary! His respect, professionalism, and compassion for his patients is unsurpassed in my opinion. When you are with him you get his full undivided attention. He is very thorough and spends as much time as needed to answer all questions. Waited one hour to see him while he sat in his office eating his tuna fish sandwich..this fact is based on the office worker telling him that his sandwich was in his office and that no patients had come out for the last hour. Three patients came in while I'm in the waiting room. Finally, I get called and put into a room the woman does a quick review of my medical history.
