Routine Colonoscopy almost Killed Me. Went in for a routine Colonoscopy. Had a Polyp removed. By that evening, the point were the polyp was removed was in full peritonitis and sepsis poising. Had emergency surgery were 1/3 of my colon was removed. What was suppose to be a routine procedure with very low complications turned into a matter of life or death. The doctor-on-call was informed of the matter as I was going into surgery, yet the doctor who performed the colonoscopy never called.

great overall experience. short wait time and doctor was attentive and listened to what I had to say. He made the right recommendations.
Very thorough and listens to your concerns and suggests what needs to be done.
I love Dr. Eisenband. I've been his patient for 16 years and trust him completely. He's performed all my colonoscopies and cares about his patients.
Good visit.
Dr. Eisenband is a excellent Doctor! I have been a patient for over 20 years. He actually saved my life @Northside ER. He came to the ER on the weekend around 1:am to attend me. He started me w/2 antibiotics, send a stool sample to CDC. I had E-Coli the same that killed several in another state. CDC came to visit me to say if Dr. Eisenband had not started me on the 2 of 3 antibiotics I needed I would probably be dead or at the least permanent organ damage. I trust him & am still a patient.
Business response:
Dr. Eisenband will be so happy to hear this Linda! Thank you!
I have been with Dr. Eisenband and I found him very courteous and knowledgeable. I was fairly sick with a inflamed hernia and he got me through it. I trust him.
I have been with Dr Eisenband for close to 20 years and I would definitely continue using him. He is very through and knowledgeable. He is concerned about how I feel.
My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Eisenband for approximate 20 years and always found him to be caring and thorough. Personally, I do not understand some of the comments such as "he is not a nice person" as that has certainly NOT been our experience. He has always been very pleasant and put us at ease during our procedures. The staff are usually friendly and helpful as well.
