Dr. Finkel did my colonoscopy several months ago and it was not a great experience. I recovered without complications. However, in the recovery area, he seemed annoyed with me that abdominal adhesions made the procedure more challenging than usual and it took longer than he’d expected. My GP referred me to Dr. Finkel. He performed an endoscopy and colonoscopy with polyp removal at the Endoscopic Surgical Centre of Maryland in Rockville. The procedures went perfectly. He was easy to understand and answered all of my questions. I did not have any post-op issues. I will recommend him to my family, etc. The staff at ESC were all very professional and efficient. Dr. Finkel's staff were great as well. I went to his office in Olney.
Dr. Finkel is comfortable to talk to, listens to patient's concerns, and addresses the concerns. Friendly and "down to earth". He takes time to explain the procedures and results.

Had an excellent experience with Dr. Finkel. He was thorough and compassionate!
Nice enough but not particularly compassionate and understanding. I felt that he could have taken more time to understand, because I have a complex condition. I appreciate the need for weight loss, but Dr Finkel does not take into consideration other health factors that make this hard to do. He does not have positive recommendations to help with the problem. I was disappointed. Could have used constructive ideas, referrals, suggestions, that were missing from his consultation.
