Excellent Doctor, always keeps you well informed, answered all questions with integrity and compassion and never made me feel like I was being rushed through an appointment. Surgery was successful, thank you Dr Boykin!
Amazing surgeon. I was in such pain and had done so much damage to my shoulder I was fearful I'd always be limited. Dr. Boykin gave me back my ability to do all the things I love to do, pain free. Not only is he a great surgeon, he has a wonderful ability to make you comfortable and he's so easy to talk with. Top all that off with his great sense of humor. I lucked out when I found Dr. Boykin. I'd recommend him highly to everyone.
Words cannot describe how meaningful my experience was with this Dr. Boykin. Tearing my ACL as an active older adult was devastating and terrifying. From the very first appointment where he shared the difficult news and discussed surgery options, Dr. Boykin was incredibly professional, but more importantly, personable. He spoke to me with understanding, respect, and care. He listened and heard my fears/concerns from deciding the best course for surgery through the year-LONG recovery process.
Following Dr. Boykin's advice and instruction, my shoulder replacement is a success. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Excellent care from front desk, nursing, PA, and doctor!
I could not have asked for better care from a surgeon and his staff. Dr. Boykin is Compassionate, kind and caring. Always took time to listen to me and find solutions. His entire staff from the front desk staff to his nurse and PA are amazing. I would not only highly recommend Him, but I would not want to see anyone else. They took excellent care of me from start to finish.
I first saw Dr. Boykin in 2/17. I had a mountain bike accident(9/16) resulting in a broken collarbone and separated shoulder. He was the first of 7 MDs to identify the separation, the likely cause of the non-healing of the clavicle. He plated the clavicle and repaired the separation. Once this healed, he replaced my worn out shoulder joint, on the same side, with excellent results. His care, skill and communication was exemplary. His assistant, Chris, the same. I give my highest recommendation

Dr. Boykin is an excellent surgeon. He was able to see me very quickly and did surgery the next day to repair my broken and very messed up shoulder. He is a very caring doctor and his PA, Chris, is wonderful!! I am very thankful that Dr. West recommended Dr. Boykin. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is a very knowledgable, competent, excellent surgeon!!! Thank you Dr. Boykin and Chris!! I appreciate you so very much!!!
