He and his staff did a great job. While I’d thought that I’d torn my rotator cuff he determined quickly that I’d broken my shoulder and developed a frozen shoulder. He injected it and put me in physical therapy and now I’m in great shape.

This was as good of an experience as I could have expected, considering the circumstances of my needing Dr. Boykin to begin with. If I needed a physician for shoulder, hip or knee concerns, I would definitely go back again.
Dr. Boykin was great. He was patient and explained everything. One of the best things is that he wasn't just out to do surgery. He definitely wanted to make sure that surgery was absolutely necessary before recommending it. I would not hesitate to go back if necessary. Chris, his PA was wonderful too.

Dr. Boykin is an outstanding surgeon. He was recommended to me by a friend, a highly respected orthopedic surgeon in Dallas, Texas. I am a 70 year old man who had a bad fall and tore my right rotator cuff for the fourth time. Dr. Boykin did not have much to work with both in terms of the rotator cuff tendons and my bicep which was just hanging on. Even with those handicaps, he managed to repair the cuff and reattach my bicep, and I am back to full activity. He and his staff are the best.

Dr. Boykin has made a tremendous difference for our youthful 75 year old mother and our family. Dr. Boykin treated my Mom with extreme care, focus, professionalism, thought, diligence and excellent skill from her first appointment, to the surgery and through each of her post op visits. He is attentive, thorough, sincere, supportive and detail oriented. He is a great listener, observant and was cautious with every aspect of my Mom’s health and well being. I can’t begin to measure our gratitude!
