I was seen in the emergency department on December 24, 2018. Upon arrival they asked to put and IV in my arm. This has been done many times to me on several occasions. Probably more than I can count. We have had several experiences at the Riverton IMC. The doctors and nurses there have been absolutely wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone. My husband is currently undergoing radiation treatments for prostate cancer and we are completely satisfied with the care.
I have to say that the staff at Intermountain Riverton Hospital are so freaking amazing!! They are so attentive and they are extremely well at explaining to us everything that's going on and providing us with any information we ask. They really make you feel very important. There seems to be a major disconnect between Intermountain’s established standard of quality care and that practiced by the night shift in the Emergency Room. It seems to stem from the attitudes of the Medical Staff, and has, in my own case, resulted in delayed treatment and suffering. Everything from just absence of treatment to missed diagnosis and pretty substantial symptoms being shrugged of by what seems to be very lazy physicians there.
