On 3-3-17 we were at Riverside Hospital for a friend who was having emergency surgery. We for there around 8 pm & were told to gather in the meditation room at the Pavillion. Throughout the evening we had asked the 2 women who worked in the admin area, for any updates for our friend. They would just say they didn't know anything w out calling around. Aside from the fact that Riverside Regional Medical Center is only 2 minutes away from our house, the place is clean although my mom's room doesn't have shower room. The hospital clinical staff were nice but kind of lazy, and seemed that they were short of staff. The food is great, the cooks are up to the standards and the cleaning people are courteous and they really doing their part. I will surely recommend Riverside Regional Medical Center to everyone.
There for 6 or 7 hours in a hours in a hallway bed just to tell me the think I have anxiety! And gave me my walking papers and I'm still in pain !
My husband was a patient at Riverside February 27th and 28th. He was scheduled for a heart catherization, but after finding a rather extensive blockage, Dr. Paul Micale put a stent in. He was admitted overnight. Something we had not planned happening. The nurses and staff, from the catherization lab to any supporting staff and the overnight nurses, could not have been more courteous, helpful, or concerned about my husband. Great service and great providers. Horrible and incompetent billing offices. They have failed to file claims to insurance multiple times and sent paper bills to the wrong addresses. On going problem for almost 2 years and the billing office has continued to not file to insurance.

As a Volunteer Bedside Companion, I am continually amazed with the Nurses and Staff on the Wards. I have always been greeted respectfully and thanked for what I do. The nurses and patient staff work their backsides off...and are always there help the patient in a caring and friendly manner. We need more Volunteers!! Join me, the staff, and other volunteers as we care for and about our patients. It will be the most reward work you will ever do!! I promise!!
